Properly caring for your Natural Beaded Rows Extensions during quarantine.

IMPORTANT for all NBR Babes to either read or watch.

Here are some tips and tricks to help you properly care for your NBR extensions past your usual maintenance appointment.

My goal is to give you the confidence that we are going to make it to the other side with beautiful, healthy extensions.

If you are finding yourself in this situation, take a deep breath and don’t panic.

Although it is not recommended to go past 6-8 weeks, if you follow these guidelines you can stretch your tightening appointment out while still maintaining the health of your hair. •

1. When brushing your hair be mindful of where your rows are laying. Hold them down at the top & be extra gentle while brushing to avoid any unnecessary tension or potential snagging. Brush from the bottom up. Make sure that you brush all the way up to the top of your weft to avoid any matting.

3. No top knots or high pony. I highly recommend you wear your hair down, pull it back into a low loose pony, or loose braids. Always make sure there is no tension on your end beads.

4. If you can, let your hair air dry as much as possible. I love to wash my hair at night, let it air dry for about an hour or two, then I put in pigtail braids. When I wake up, I take them out of the braids, reapply oil and let them either continue to air-dry or gently blow dry. But this is the perfect time to give your extensions a break from hot tools.

5. Don’t pick at your hair, your rows or your beads.

Here are the braids I did in my video above. Wore them all day and took out the next morning to create heatless waves. Great option during quarantine, to avoid any unnecessary heat damage.

The next morning I simply took out my braids, applied my Pulp Riot Munich Hair Serum and brush with my boarse bristle brush for added volume and shine. I love my hair to be BIG and look like a lions mane. Its so empowering! Can you relate?

Along with these tips make sure you are still following your at-home maintenance plan.

If you do not have your maintenance appointment scheduled, please reach out to me personally and we will figure out what steps to take.

Also, to help you get through this time with super fly hair I’m offering an at-home color-care package.

You may be getting desperate, but please do not use box color! The lasting effects of box dye can be very difficult and expensive to fix. Message me for more details.

If you have any further questions, reach out. am here for you!

Stay healthy & uplifted my friends.🤍
